I want some kind of financial commitment before i ever ever do a proposal. So the proposal itself is not designed to sell or close the prospect.
It is simply spells out all the terms how we gonna work together its an agreement i already closed that sale before the proposal. What you dont want is the illusion that a proposal could help you close the sale if youre lousy closer. You cant close in person you think you can close with a few pieces of paper.
It is dumb. So dont do proposals just dont close a sale then send them the agreement thats the smart thing to do and i am a living proof and ive done business with pretty big companies. No proposals are needed what they want is a result they actually dont care about proposal.
What they want is exactly how youre gonna help me solve my problem exactly how youre gonna make me more money how you gonna save me money how you gonna create the result how you gonna solve the problems thats what they want to know how you get there actually matters less you focus on their needs you dont need to worry about proposal. .
